Welcome to my class!

Welcome!!  This page is intended for parents and students of Mr. Mahnesmith's math classes at Williamsfield High School, Williamsfield, Illinois.
During the course of the year, students in my classes can anticipate a challenging and rewarding curriculum.  We will explore concepts in a variety of ways.  Students will have the opportunity to learn by sometimes working on their own, doing work with a partner, participating in group-work, working on projects, discovery, as well as the traditional style of lecture.
I look forward to a great year and hope that you do the same.  May we endeavor together!

My Guiding Light To Success

My mission is to prepare the students academically and socially.  I will strive to encourage the students to set goals for themselves and develop the necessary tools to achieve their goals.  I will instill in them that learning is a life-long process that integrates and builds upon the knowledge and interactions of their past.  I will continually help the students develop a sense of self-worth and responsibility.  I will create a positive, caring atmosphere in and out of the classroom.
